This year we went all over...it was scary. We started at The Grove for Trunk or Treat with our cousins and our dear friends the Drotars. It was crazy busy but the kids were having fun winning prizes and getting candy of course. Gavin decided to go watch the band with dad and dance with his little friend Taylor. It was very cute. Then we headed or we almost beheaded at the boys first Haunted House at Jill and Carrie's. It was very scary but after a while Blake and Devin decide to help scare other people. And then we went to Brian and Ambers Halloween Pary for the rest of the frightful night.

October 28th ~ Disneyland Halloween ~
We have passes to Disneyland and so we took the boys to check it out at Halloween time. We went on a Wednesday and the park was empty. We rode 9 rides and had dinner in a 4 1/2 hour time frame. Gavin rode Space mountain, Blake's favorite ride for the first time. I was scared for him but he loved it.

October 10 -13 *** Vampire Vail Lake ***
This was our first camping trip Vail Lake. The month of October they have the campground decorated for Halloween and fun events for the kids. We trick or treated from different campsites and learned how to do the "Thriller" dance at the village. The kids had a frightening good time and the adults ate, drank are were scary.

September 18 - 25 *** My photos of Holland ***
September 18-25, 2008...My mom, dad and I went to Amsterdam, Holland to visit my Oma and family. It was difficult to leave my little family here but soooo GREAT to spend time with my family there because I hadn't seen them since 1999. I appreciated the land and culture so much more this time. I think that we think everyone is like us when we don't travel often. Anyway... it was a very relaxing trip, just visiting and eating all day long. For those of you that may never see Holland enjoy the slide show and for my family there...I miss you and think of you often... Hoping to come back again with my whole family.. DAG!!!

I'm in Amsterdam, Holland - Monday 9/22/08
Hello my little family: I found a internet in the hotel. You are sleeping right now but I hope when you are working from home today that you notice this. I will try to email to but I don't think it will work. I miss you and hope you are doing okay. You are not sounding good on the phone babe. I'm okay. I'd love to be home with you and I'm counting down the days. Oma is doing well. She is funny. She says exactly what's on her mind. The weather here is nice. We mainly are visiting at Oma's apartment, it's hard to talk to someone for 7 hours a day and not do anything else really but eat..it's even harder with the language barrier and because I want her to know that I was trying to talk to her so majority of the time I 'm saying crazy things to make her laugh. My new clothes are barely fitting. O well the food is good and I won't be back for a while so, I'll get it off when I get back. I hope. Anyway, on Saturday we went to Edam to visit Uncle Cees and today we are going to another town to visit Marleen. It sounds like you have been busy. I'm so bummed that I missed Blake's goal. Way to go Blakey! It's only 4 more days and I will be home to hug and kiss you. If mom and dad try to kiss I tell them they can't because I can't. I miss you very much and we won't do this again. Everyone asks about you and I say you're all perfect. Dad wanted me to tell you that we are driving a brand new Audi A4. I told him you wouldn't care you are mad at Audi right now. Take Care of yourself and our babies. I love you more than the Sun shines, the Stars in the sky and the best to the Moon!
Hey Blake...how's Uranus? Good luck on your project!
P.S. If Kate or Roz are looking at this. Thank you for looking out for my boys. I really appreciate it.
And Holly thanks for bringing my family dinner too!
I miss you girls too. It's funny, when we are out places and I see the ladies going on and on in dutch, I think about us and how we probably look to a tourist in our land. You know me I only pay attention to the immediate circle. I hope you are doing well.
Dag! That's how you say hello and good bye in Holland!
Can't wait to see you soon!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOX

A day at the beach
This was our end of summer trip to Huntington with Mel, Amber and our babies. We wanted to take the kids on one last adventure in the ocean before they went back to school. It was fun teaching the kids how to body board, even Gavin was catching waves.
